What this is

A page for the person who wonders.

Read moreShow less

couldthisbereal.com is one page, built for people who aren't sure God is real but can't shake the question. They tell it how they're feeling. It shows them what God says about exactly that. Then it walks them, one honest question at a time, to Jesus, the Bible, prayer and a local church.

No login. Nothing to buy. And if they want, we stay in touch afterwards, checking in by email to see how their church experience went, and helping them find the right one if they need to.

Try the page yourself Click around and get a feel for it. Try different answers to see the different journeys people go on. It opens in a new tab, and nothing you tap is counted.

The journeys

Every answer leads somewhere.

Everyone starts in the same place: how are you feeling today? From there, the page listens to their answers and takes them down the path that fits. Nobody hits a dead end, and nobody gets pushed. Here are the main journeys.

Ready to say yes

They feel something, and they want it.

  1. How they're feeling
  2. What God says about it
  3. You are loved
  4. Two honest questions
  5. Why we feel far from God
  6. Jesus came to get you
  7. Do you believe?
  8. The gift of forgiveness
  9. The prayer
  10. Believes and receives his forgiveness

After the prayer

What happens once they've said yes.

  1. Welcome home
  2. Stay in touch by email
  3. Being filled with the Holy Spirit, God's energy
  4. Read the Bible, starting with John
  5. Learn to talk to God, a 7 day start
  6. Find a local church
  7. A new life, with next steps

Wants to believe

Open, but honest that they're unsure.

  1. Do you believe?
  2. I want to believe, or I'm not sure
  3. Thomas the doubter
  4. Keep going, or explore first
  5. Prays when ready, or explores at their own pace

Not sure God is real

The sceptic who still clicked the link.

  1. What's holding you back?
  2. Not sure God is real
  3. Design points to a designer
  4. What is God like? Look at Jesus
  5. Still unsure? Pray: God, if you're real, show me
  6. Hears what God says, or explores on their own

Hurt by church

Someone wounded by people who used God's name.

  1. What's holding you back?
  2. Hurt by church or Christians
  3. The people who hurt you are not Jesus
  4. Hear from him, without the church bit for now
  5. Rejoins the journey, or leaves with the door open

Not interested, yet

No pressure, ever.

  1. What's holding you back?
  2. Just not interested
  3. A kind goodbye. The page will still be here
  4. Can change their mind any time

Why use it

Share the link. The page does the rest.

You don't need to be a preacher, or even post about faith. A link on your business page, your personal profile or your bio is enough. Someone curious taps it, and the page takes it from there.

A church invite can feel like a big step. A Bible can feel like homework. This is the gentle step in between, built for a stranger scrolling at 2am. It explains everything, so you don't have to. And every week, you'll see how many people responded, what they were feeling, and the steps they took.

What do I do with the link?

  • Your bioInstagram, TikTok, Facebook or YouTube. This is the big one.
  • Your link pageLinktree or similar. Put it at the top.
  • Your businessYour business page, website, shop or email signature. You don’t need to post about faith for it to help someone.
  • Your contentIf you do post about faith, end a video with "Could this be real? Link in my bio." Add it to captions, descriptions and blog posts.

How your link works

Same page. Your own link.

Everyone who signs up gets their own link, like www.couldthisbereal.com/sarah. Every link opens the exact same page. The name on the end is how we know which link someone tapped, so everything they do on the page is counted for you.

What we count

Every step, never the person.

When someone arrives through your link, the page counts:

  • That they arrived
  • Which feelings they chose, like lonely, anxious or curious
  • How far through the page they got
  • Whether they said yes to believing in Jesus and receiving his forgiveness
  • Whether they signed up to hear from us
  • Whether they opened the Bible, or searched for a church
  • Later, whether they found a church, if they chose to hear from us

That's it. We never collect their name, their account or anything that identifies them, and we don't use cookies. Each visit gets a random code that resets every day, so we can count people without ever knowing who they are.

Your Monday report

Two numbers that matter.

Every Monday morning you'll get one email with two parts:

  • Your linkWhat happened through your link that week. How many people came, how they were feeling, how many said yes to believing in Jesus and receiving his forgiveness, how many signed up to hear from us, how many went looking for a Bible or a church, and how many have since found one.
  • Everyone togetherThe same numbers for every link combined, plus how many new creators joined that week and how many links are out there in total. The whole movement, in one place.

Your link shows what your posts did. Everyone together shows what you're part of.

Using your report

How to use your report.

Your Monday report isn't numbers to glance at and forget. Used well, it shapes what you post, how you pray and why you keep going.

  • Know what to postIt shows which feelings your people chose most. That's what your audience is carrying right now, told to you honestly, by people who would never say it in a comment.
  • See what's workingEvery week shows whether your numbers went up or down. Notice which posts came before a big week, and do more of what moved people.
  • Pray with purposePray for the people behind the numbers. The ones who felt lost. The ones who looked for a church. You won't know most of their names, but God does.
  • Keep goingLikes come and go. This shows real people taking real steps. On the hard weeks, it's proof that what you share matters.
  • See the bigger pictureEveryone together shows what the world is feeling this week, and the movement you're part of.

If most people who came through your link felt lonely this week, you know what your next post is about.

When someone reaches out

They'll know it was you.

When someone comes through your link, they'll see your name. After they pray, they'll get a button to message you, and they can choose to let you know by email too. That moment matters, so here's how to handle it.

  • Help them find a churchInvite them to yours, or help them find one near them.
  • Keep checking inPray for them, and send a message again in a week.

If they share their email with you, keep it private. They trusted you with it.

Who's behind this?Who's behind this?
James Schleusener

James SchleusenerMost people call me Jimmi

Could this be real? is run by me and a small team of people who love Jesus and want everyone to have the chance to meet him. We're not a church or a charity. We just built the page we wish every searching person could find, and made it free for anyone who wants to share it.

We believe Jesus is personally calling millions of people to himself, right now, one scroll at a time. We made this page simply to help them find him. And we believe that when someone receives Jesus and the Holy Spirit, God's energy, Jesus leads them into a local church where they find their people.

What we believe

  • One GodFather, Son and Holy Spirit. Three persons, one God.
  • JesusGod who became a man. He died on the cross for our sins, and three days later he rose from the dead.
  • GraceWe can't earn God's forgiveness. It's a gift, received by trusting in Jesus.
  • The BibleGod's word, and the main way he speaks to us.
  • ChurchEvery follower of Jesus belongs in a local church family.
